pokemon
fav games: platinum, soulsilver, white (1 & 2), moon, mystery dungeon: explorers of time
my favorite pokemon games are pretty much from the ds/3ds era. gen 4 is what i started with and has remained my
fav generation ever. there's smth so beautiful in the spritework, the music and the actual love you can feel in these games.
i would not be the same person without pokemon in my life.
tomodachi life
i was late to the tomodachi bandwagon, but wowie am i happy i'm in it now. it's just pure comedy and stupidity for fun's sake.
and yes, i lost my shit when they announced tomodachi life for switch. the war is over.
legend of zelda: breath of the wild & tears of the kingdom
fantasy genres are my fav and this game finally gave me the feeling of living inside a fantasy world. the feeling of exploration
is amazing, so strong that it makes you become link. you are the explorer.
2010s rpg maker horror games: ib, mad father, witch's house, etc.
growing up without much money to buy more game systems (i grew up with a ds (that i gave away), 3ds & wii), rpg horror maker games were my childhood.
these games created my love for the macabre and juxtaposition of cute versus scary.
super mario galaxy 1 & 2
i remember buying this game sometime in may, i think during my 5th or 6th grade year, right before i had to visit someone in a hospital.
once i got to play, i never looked back. even in its linear gameplay, it felt amazing to just explore and see how far the game designers
can go.
the world ends with you & neo
i got this game after a trip to the philippines while i was recovering from a cold. did i buy it bc it had cool art? yes, but i don't regret
it. i just feel cool playing the game: exploring shibuya, discovering the lore, etc. this game started my love for alt japanese fashion.
playing neo in summer 2021 will always be a core memory, too.
animal crossing
after trying out wild world from my cousin, i knew i had to get this game for myself. it's so simple, just living life how you want with your
eccentric animal neighbors. i was one of the new horizons players who got to almost 2000 hours just redesigning my island over and over. animal
crossing forever!!
hades
damn this game is so freaking cool. the gameplay never felt boring, the fighting was always so fun. being a huge greek mythology-head, this game
felt so good to go through every part to complete the story. i am waiting patiently for hades 2!!
